Nauvoo Cabins are a great place to stay! It was peaceful, cabins were very nice and clean. My husband and I stayed in the Van Vleet cabin our first night it was very cozy with a comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed in the Howell cabin our second night and loved the kitchen very accommodating to my needs as I have to eat a certain way. We really love cabins and the country/rustic look! They had some creative ways to decorate like old fashioned irons for towel holders! So clever! We went to an antique store in Nauvoo and bought some for our house. It was very interesting to read about the history of the cabins! We will definitely be coming back!

Had the chance to stay in the Main Lodge. What a beautiful lodge. Used their website to book the lodge. They called the day of my arrival. Upon arrival we found our name decoratively displayed next to he door. The lodge was well kept and stocked to include spices and oils to use in the kitchen. Check out was simple and didn’t require going to the office.

My husband made the reservation for two of our friends. He was helped by your reservation clerk who was very friendly and helpful. Both of friends commented that they enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness of the rooms. They slept well, and we will call you again when we have friends and family come to visit in the future.

We absolutely loved staying at the Nauvoo Log Cabins! We stayed in the main lodge and it was very spacious and had all the amenities you needed. The staff was great to work with and was very attentive and accommodating to all our needs. Would definitely recommend staying there! We will for sure be staying there again.

They’re SO beautiful and clean. I loved the cabin we stayed in that accommodated us. There is nothing bad I can say about this and the location whatsoever. I have stayed in two different cabins here so far. Perfect, clean, beautiful!

My husband and I visited this past weekend (we stayed in The Sanders) - I cannot stop saying positive things about this place! First of all these owners know clean - I mean there was not one speck of dirt in our cabin - I felt like I was visiting a relative’s home. The kitchen and bathroom (that had an overhead rain showerhead!) were spotless! Shortly before we checked in the owner called us to let us know that out cabin was ready. When we arrived there was a beautiful hand drawn sign welcoming us with our name on it. When we opened the door we were so excited to see a little 4 ft Christmas tree lit up making our stay that much more special! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The kitchen had all of the needed cookware and dishes for us to prepare our own dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend Navoo Log Cabins and have been telling all of my family and friends about this wonderful place!

We (my wife and I) make a little pilgrimage twice a year on the spring and fall feasts to celebrate the restoration movement. We were drawn to the Nauvoo Log Cabins years ago and they haven’t disappointed us, not once. Their cabins are always clean and the decor is a constant reminder of the courage and strength of our pioneer ancestors. Thank you for bringing these Log Cabins to Nauvoo and restoring them.

Enjoyed staying in the Howell cabin. The cabins are very clean and a couple of minutes away to the historic area of Nauvoo. We were able to go back for lunch and dinner quickly. Parked right in front of the cabin. Kitchen included full size stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Beds were comfortable. We stayed four nights and all nights were quiet and my family slept well.

The extreme opposite of what we had expected! NOT old, rickety, musty, dirty, dusty, outdated, primitive and eerie. Updated (equipped with a flat-screen TV and cable or dishTV and air-conditioning), extremely clean, very comfortable , large and sturdy bunks beds that were the perfect size, beautifully colored and coordinated drapery, towels, quilts, and even had all the travel extras we may have forgotten in the medicine cabinet! The owners were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, even after calling them late in the night. Upon our arrival (within 15mins of our booking last-minute by phone), a cute little chalkboard sign with Independence Day decor and a "Welcome Herrera Family" made us already love this place.
